Christian Louboutin

This project was a thrilling two-parter! I had the honor of being casted as talent for Christian Louboutin’s upcoming spring/summer collection. In addition my team and I got a backstage pass to their manufacturing facility, where artisans meticulously handcraft each stunning shoe. Our mission? To capture captivating marketing images for social media and online launch of select Spring/Summer styles.

Concept

To celebrate Louboutin’s rich heritage in style, we envisioned a concept that fused a captivating blend of New York's audacious style and Italy's timeless sophistication. Brooklyn meets Naples — an international style rendezvous! Ultimately an ode to Louboutin legacy of taste making. Brooklyn’s own Creative Director Lougè Delcy from DapperStudios led a talented crew, including poet Joe Kenneth Museau, filmmaker Kerri Dowridge, and yours truly, Art Director Daniel Timothy Randall. We stormed the city, showcasing standout Autumn/Winter styles for men, along with an exclusive sneak peek at Spring/Summer styles featured in the film Les Napolitains. Talk about a fashion fusion!"

Image Breakdown

With a little less then a hour and a half to ideate, plan and shoot on the spot, my aim in each image that I constructed was to…

  • Capturing Italian Essence: My desire was to encapsulate the enchanting spirit of a sun-drenched Italian summer, creating an atmosphere that resonates with warmth, vibrancy, and elegance.

  • Artful Composition: Employing dynamic leading lines and strategic framing, I crafted visual pathways that guide the viewer’s gaze.

  • Floral Whimsy and Color Burst: Infusing scenes with delightful florals, lush greenery, and capilizing on the ranges of colors. Elevating Louboutin’s timeless designs, harmonizing nature’s charm with haute couture in a playful yet sophisticated ballet of style.
